The LA-2 Air Force is the standby of flying men and ladies, too.  W.W.II aces lament  ever  having  turned theirs  in.  Fifty percent on our female customers buy the guys sizes to have that oversized look that can be worn over baggy sweaters. But if you like a more fitted version or are shorter than 5´ 4" a ladies size might be ideal for you.  It has small shoulders, arm holes and is about 2 inches shorter than the mans style with a little more room at the hips. Because we manufacture the A2 under contract we use standard military spec. patterns, not our own sizing so you might want to order one size larger than usual
