(1) Production Time on USA Made Product & Lifetime Warranty

Lifetime Warranty on San Diego Leather, Inc. USA Made Products Effective as of Nov. 1st 2018

Guarantee coverage of repair or replacement on stitching, snaps and zippers on our San Diego Leather USA Made Products for as long as San Diego Leather Inc. is in business for the USA Made Products on GSA Advantage, Leather.com and from our local store. It does not cover any damages to the leather of the product caused by neglect, abuse, misuse, tears, rips, scratches, alteration of the product or improper storage.

Alterations or customization on any San Diego Leather Inc. USA Made products done outside of San Diego Leather Inc. will void the warranty.

 
(2) In-store Returns & Exchange Policy

Refunds and credits can only be issued to the original credit card used to purchase the product(s) and only to the card holder with proper identification.

A full refund will be issued within the 21 days of receipt as long as the purchased product(s) is returned to our local store in an unused and undamaged condition with all original labels and hand price tag attached.

If exchanging for another product, we will charge or refund the difference to you based on the product(s) price(s).
We will not accept any used, damaged or altered products.

Any expired due date for returns outside the product(s) 21 days receipt are non-refundable & non-exchangeable. No exceptions.

The return & exchange policy are extended until the 3rd Wednesday of January of the new year if the purchase(s) are made in the beginning of November. Closeout and final sales are non-refundable.

 
(3) Online GSA Advantage (47QSWA18D003W), Leather.com USA Made & Imported Orders, Returns & Exchanges Policy

Refunds and credits can only be issued to the original credit card used to purchase the product(s).

If placing an order over the phone, please have the following information ready;
Your contact number, your full name, billing address, credit card information, shipping address and email to send your order number and invoice once it is shipped.

If a product is unavailable, production can take from one or more weeks depending on the quantity ordered and material availability.
Customers are responsible for shipping charges when purchasing a product. For an inquiry on the cost please contact us.

We use USPS & UPS for our shipping services. If another shipping carrier is preferred for your order please contact us. No item(s) can be returned for refunds or exchanges without prior contact with our customer service department for an email with a confirmed authorization for return(s). We will not accept any returns without a confirmed authorization. San Diego Leather, Inc. DBA leather.com does not provide shipping labels for return(s) or exchange(s). Defects on our USA Made Products or Imported Products caused by packaging, material and/or workmanship can be returned within 10 days after delivery with a confirmed authorization email for return(s) from a representative from San Diego Leather, Inc.

Defective USA Made San Diego Leather, Inc. products can be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion.

Non-defective products can only be returned within 21 days of receipt if they were purchased directly from our GSA Advantage SAN DIEGO LEATHER, INC. DBA leather.com, from our Leather.com site or from our local store. Product(s) must be returned in an unused and undamaged condition with all original labels and hang price tag attached. Due to the nature of our products we cannot authorize the return of a product that has been used, altered or damaged.

The return & exchange policy are extended until the 3rd Wednesday of January of the new year if the purchase(s) are made in the beginning of November. Closeout and final sales are non-refundable.

Exchanges can still be made within 21 days of receipt as well if purchased from our websites. Please include the invoice the product(s) came with including detailed instructions about your exchange request. Once the product(s) are returned to our factory in an unused and undamaged condition with all original labels and hand price tag attached, we will charge or refund the difference to you based on the product(s) price(s). A friendly reminder we do not provide shipping labels for any exchanges unless we shipped the incorrect style or size not listed on the invoice order.

If a USA Made or imported product you need is backordered, please allow one to three weeks for production time. For an accurate production or availability time, please contact us. Imported products may require more time for availability since it may be shipped from overseas. Be aware that over time imported product(s) may become discontinued.

(5) Production & Warranty on Custom Orders

Same coverage as stated on Section (1).

Custom orders on our USA Made Products or re-production of a product cannot be exchanged and are non-refundable. A non-refundable deposit is required. Deposit amount will varies on type of work requested.

 
(6) Warranty on Repair/Replacement, Non-Warranty on Repair/Replacement & General Alteration(s) Services

We require at least one to two weeks to service your product depending on the service requested.

Services may take up to three weeks or more depending on the volume of our Service Orders.

Expedited Service Orders are available for an additional charge depending on the volume of our Service Orders & the type of work requested.

 
(7) Out-of-State & International Alteration, Repair or Replacement Services

Out-of-state and international service orders are accepted. We ask that you first contact our store number for your inquiry. An email will be provided with instructions and for photos to be submitted if needed for us to give an estimate or an exact quotation(s) for the service order(s).

San Diego Leather Inc is not responisble for any international customs charges and duties.

Check with your local post office or online for more information about what the international customs charges and duties are enforced.

Customers are responsible for shipping their product(s) to our factory and paying for shipping for its return upon completion. If the service order(s) does not meet to your expectations please contact our store at 619-477-2900 or by emailing back to a representative email address if provided previously. A responds will be provided within two to three business days.
 
(8) International Orders

Section (3) and (5) applies.

San Diego Leather Inc is not responisble for any international customs charges and duties.

Check with your local post office or online for more information about what the international customs charges and duties are enforced.

As a safety procedure, we do not accept international credit cards from overseas.

We do however accept payments through PayPal where you can register a free account and make the payment to San Diego Leather, Inc. paypal@leather.com

(9) Online Purchases of USA Made & Imported Products Restocking Fee

All returns for refunds only are subjected to a 15% restocking fee.

The restocking fee will be applied once for the exchanged product if returned.

Any expired due date for returns outside the product(s) 21 days receipt are non-refundable & non-exchangeable.No expectations.

(11) Sizing

Generally we suggest buying one size up for imported products.

If you would like to call about sizing for our San Diego Leather, Inc. USA Made or imported products please contact us and have the following information below ready for us to assist you on selecting the best size;

Jacket/Shirt/Vest: Chest Size, Stomach Area, Sleeve Lengh (With arms down from the tip of the outer shoulder blade down to the sleeve cuff or desired length) & Body Length (From the bottom of the collar from the back down to the waist or your desired length).

Pants/Chaps: Waist, Thigh & Inseam

 

(12) Leather & Other Materials

We use the best quality in leather ranging from cowhide, goatskin, lambskin & deerskin in different weight, texture and cut quality.

The primary colors we carry are black and dark brown.

To inquiry about a particular leather color please contact us.

In addition to carrying leather we do have fur, lining fabrics, knit ribbing, interfacing and zippers which we use for our orders and service orders.

Leather Care & Waterproofing

Leather from time to time needs to be conditioned with specialized leather lotions to prevent it from drying out and have protection from the sun.

We carry several lotion products to help protect your leather apparel and have it last for years.

The seals from our lotions product can help the leather clean loose dirt, protect it from stains, and provide moisture to condition the leather from drying out depending on your usage on your leather apparel and products.

We do carry waterproofing sprays which can be applied to suede as well. It can help protect it from certain liquid stains caused by rain, drinks and salt satins from perspiration.
